NDT Technician

IMES International Ltd are looking for an NDT Technician to join our team in our Rosyth depot. You will carry out non-destructive and be trained to conduct LOLER Inspection surveys and testing within the local area predominantly, and other UK locations and overseas, as required.

You will be required to carry out NDT, thorough examinations, and load testing on all aspects of lifting equipment, as well as repair and refurbishment activities. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking to work in a varied, busy and hands on environment.

Key Requirements:

· Previous experience in a similar role is essential

· Knowledge and experience of lifting equipment is essential

· LEEA qualifications preferable but full training will be provided

· Non-Destructive Testing qualified with PCN Level II

· Magnetic Particle Inspection qualified

· Liquid Penetrant Inspection qualified desirable

· Eddy Current Inspection

· Rope Access Level III desirable but not essential

· Strong health and safety awareness

· Driving licence required

· Valid passport required

· Existing Security Clearance desirable however full process will be undertaken

Remuneration: Competitive salary package with overtime, salary dependent on experience; and benefits including pension, health shield cash plan and employee assistance programme. 40 hours per week, permanent position.
