IMES International’s engineers have recently released the latest addition to the Subsea Integrity Testing Suite of tools. The OPTI-Plus is capable of testing subsea fibre optical cables to lengths of 73km to an accuracy of 0.03% with a max 8 core test. The work now continues with the development of a Hybrid testing system to for electrical and optical cable mix.
