Design & Engineering Third Party Verification ServicesIMES have a large team of specially trained inspectors and engineers who are equipped with the skills to recertify legacy lifting equipment or approve repair procedures on fractured or broken lifting equipment. RecertificationMany of our customers come to us when they have old or second-hand lifting equipment for which they have no certification. If we know the year the equipment was manufactured, we assess the equipment to the design standard that was in place during the year of manufacture. If the equipment meets the design specification, we reissue third party recertification. RepairCustomers come to us when they have broken lifting equipment to assess whether it can be repaired or whether it needs to be decommissioned and replaced. We offer two services for lifting equipment repair, we can either assess and create a repair procedure and then project manage the repair with a third-party contractor. Alternatively, our customers will send us their repair procedure to review and we will provide third party verification that the repair procedure meets the correct standard or we will suggest improvements to get the procedure to the correct standard.
